One question has arrived late (28.5.2014) to Tekes. The question and the answer will be published here and also it will be sent to the party concerned by e-mail.
In the Table of Person Skills, section 7, the “Experience of Natural Resources sector in companies (as a director, board member, etc.), public administration (as an international co-operation expert etc.) or in research (as a coordinator, partner, etc.) .” needs to be described through “Description of what was researched and what methods were used in the assessment” and indicate “Object and scope of the activity (man-days, scale)”.
These requests do not match well with the experience that one has for example as a company director or in public administration. Is there a mistake in the template? Typically in previous similar Tables of Person Skills this part has requested the general “description of experience” and names of the organisations that the person has worked in which is clear.
The Question refers to the Table of Peron Skills; Section 7. Comparison subcriteria 2: Experience in the field of Natural resources sector.
Experience in companies can be described without changing the template.
When answering you can use the column 1(Organisation) to inform the employer ( company’s name or equivalent), column 2 (When) to inform the length of experience, column 3(Role/ function) to inform the position of the person during the period and column 5 (Description) to inform more detailed description of the experience. Also there is additional free form description space available to make further notion s about the experience. So, you don’t have to use column 4 (which is more likely to be used when informing the experience in research).
