2016 WiFiUS Workshop and Principal Investigator Meeting
The 2016 WiFiUS Workshop and Principal Investigator Meeting will be held on August 16-17, 2016 in Helsinki, Finland. The meeting is open for everyone interested in international research collaborations on wireless communication networks, and in particular, research related to spectrum access and efficiency. WiFiUS stands for Wireless Innovation between Finland and USA.
The meeting has two main objectives: 1) to bring together international researcher from US, Finland, and other countries, to form future international research collaborations, and, 2) to report on ongoing WiFiUS collaborations and projects.
The meeting will include (a) presentations of recent results by principal investigators engaged in ongoing research collaborations, (b) brief (10-minute) presentations by researchers interested in establishing new international research collaborations, (c) a breakout session titled "Grand Challenges in IoT" in which smaller groups outline top research questions under the solicitation topics.
The meeting has no registration fee. However, due to space limitations, registration is required by using this link by August 8, 2016. Please register for both days separately as well as for the dinner on Tuesday August 16. If you are giving a presentation in the meeting, please give the title in the registration form. A final agenda will be made according to the received titles. Presentations from all ongoing projects are expected in the meeting.
This two day meeting will be held at the Scandic Park hotel, Mannerheimintie 46, Helsinki.
