Navigate Service Co-creation! How to Engage People in Collaborative Projects

Today every service company and organization strives for customer-centeredness and user involvement in the development of services. But what does it mean in practice? Knowledge about service co-creation is scattered across disciplines, there is a multitude of co-creation and co-design methods, but hardly any guidance about how to choose one that would best fit the organization and would create most added value.
Service companies need a “big picture” of service co-development methods to support them in their choice.
Ajankohta: ke 04.06.2014

The ATLAS project (2012-2014) has been developing a map of service co-development methods. The three ATLAS research groups (SimLab, ENCORE and IRIS) have been collaboratively carrying out an in-depth analysis of data generated by 13 service co-development projects that they have conducted in Aalto University between 2007 and 2012. International benchmarking and comparative research has also been carried out. Both the service co-development methods and the theoretical underpinnings have been analyzed and elaborated with foreign partners. The objectives of the ATLAS project have been strongly grounded on the need to develop an integrated theoretical framework for service co-development and the related methods.

The ATLAS project is now presenting its key findings and results in an open seminar to support organizations in their efforts of co-creating services together with the users. You are cordially invited to join this navigation of service co-creation! Feel free to pass the invitation forward.
