Positive user experience as a philosophy is a powerful way to re-think business. This booklet is the second issue in a booklet series compiled by Finnish researchers and professionals in the Finnish metals and engineering industry.

A GLIMPSE OF UX FOR B2B INDUSTRY offers a significant step towards a better understanding of the role of user experience (UX) in strategy, management, and operations. Acknowledging the role of UX prepares companies to compete in markets where competitors have similar products and services with similar functions. UX has to be taken into account from the early stages of product or service design through to commercialization and communication. UX will differentiate companies’ products from each other, and UX will re-position the company in the industry’s value chain closer to the customer.
