International networks

Tekes has built up a global partnership network of leading universities and other innovation partners around the world.

Tekes's global operations are part of the FinNode Innovation Centre network that boosts international R&D cooperation and business. FinNode provides a gateway for international enterprises wishing to hook up with partners in Finland – whether they are looking for business contacts, cutting-edge research, or R&D resources.

At the moment FinNode operates in China, Japan, the United States and Russia. 

Tekes is also the nodal point of many European research activities in Finland, such as the EUREKA network, the EU 7th Research Framework Programme, COST and the European Space Agency ESA.

The Tekes office in Brussels fosters collaboration between Finland and the European R&D programmes.
