FP7 and Tekes

The Seventh Framework Programme is EU’s main instrument for the public funding of research. It provides opportunities for almost all fields of research and is designed to support a wide range of participants, from universities to public authorities and enterprises.

The EU Research and Innovation Programmes communicate FP7’s opportunities and EU policy issues to all Finnish stakeholders. The secretariat gives general information and advice on FP7 and coordinates the Finnish National Contact Point System. It is also charged with monitoring the EU project landscape and Finnish participation.
